General RV Center - Awful, Horrible, Service Department
Bought Brand new 2016 Holliday Rambler in November 2015 Had a list of several Problems and of course would get very few updates. On coach, when we would go to pick up coach only maybe half of items where really fixed!
To make a long story short they had my Motor home for 7 1/2 months out of the first 12 months I owned the coach. I even had to make a trip to factory in Decatur Indiana. Manufacture Rev Corp was very little help with dealing with General RV. It seems they try to stall till 12 month warranty expires!
Think god I bought and extended Warrenty so a could take it to an independent repair shop! GOOD NEWS AFTER spending approx $6700.00 total out of pocket we finally returned from our very first trip Nov 2017 almost 2 years after our purchase that we didnโt have any problems with coach! Ya!! No thanks to General RV Dover Fl.
TO BAD they have a real nice sales facility and super nice sales people BUT beware when you buy a camper from them there service dept are THE BEST LYERS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! LIke I said very sad
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
General RV Center Cons: Service department.

We bought a C class chateau from General RV in Orange Park Fl we took it for warranty work and the was told it was complete after leaving it there for 6 weeks called Thor and they sent us Campers Inn who repaired it. I ask about the rear tire pressure how do you check it? I was told I have to get valve extensions it would cost there labor hour cost about two hours plus parts I looking at 400 dollers so I can check the rear tire pressure DONT BUY ONE you wonโt be happy
They have told me before that they will only fix 3 items at a time. What is that all about?
Then they have to order parts most of the time. You take it to them for them to tell you they have to order parts then you have to drag it back home until the parts show up.
