My hubby and I saw a motor home online for sale at their Corporate office in Michigan. At their Huntley dealership, our salesman was Kris Kilpatrick and he told us to sign all preliminary forms so when the vehicle arrived, we would only need to sign a few other forms.
We trusted him and signed a lot of paper work and applied for a loan at several places to get the best rate. Before the vehicle arrived, we went to General again and told Kris WE DID NOT WANT the vehicle because we decided to take our two cats camping with us and the vehicle was too small. We asked if he had other Class B motor homes but he said not in our price range. He called us the next day and said the vehicle had arrived and we need to pick it up.
We again told him WE DID NOT WANT the vehicle and that is when he turned us over to this monster, sales manager Cen Salisoski. He was full of lies and more lies, along with pressure and arm-twisting!! Rude and manipulative sales manager Cen Salisoski threatened my hubby and I to purchase a motor home WE DID NOT WANT! The threat was he HAD our down-payment (lie, Corporate returned it to us) and would not listen to us when we told him several times that we had the down-payment returned!
He went on to say he would send in the application for a loan we filled out before we even saw the vehicle. Cen also said if we did not pick up the vehicle, he would charge us for every day the vehicle was on his lot. Then he hung up on us. We were so afraid he would send the application in that we went to General RV the next day, signed the final papers and Cen still insisting that he had the down-payment, so it was DEDUCTED from the contract.
We paid with a Cashiers Check instead of a loan because we did not trust that Cen would not send our application in.
